Wine Club FAQ

What is the cost of the Wine Club?

There is no cost to join. We kindly ask for a 1-year commitment and a minimum purchase of three or six bottles (depending on which club level you select) when you join. The cost of the club is the cost of the wines included in each release, plus applicable local taxes and shipping costs.

Can I swap out wines, so that I only receive the varietals I like?

The beauty of the Stained Tooth Society is that it is a TAILORED club. This means that you have an opportunity to choose only the wines you want with each new release. During Spring and Fall Release, you will have the opportunity to taste the wines and customize your order. We will email you at the end of March (Spring Release) and September (Fall Release) with information about which wines have been designated for your club commitment. We offer 3-4 weeks to come in and taste the wines in one of our tasting rooms and customize your order. If we don’t hear from you with any customization requests, we will process the order on the final day of release, charge your card on file and send you an email to notify you that your wine will be shipped or is available for pickup.

Can I skip a release?

We ask that you take the wines allocated to you for each release to maintain your club benefits.  However, we understand that sometimes things come up.  Please contact Cindy Braunel, Co-Owner & Wine Club Manager, to discuss.

Can my family and friends receive my wine club discount?

The best compliment we can receive is when our STS members bring their friends and family to visit us and taste our wines! Please note that members do need to be present to receive complimentary tastings (may include up to 4 people per visit). Club benefits only apply to the person who is on the account and their spouse/partner, though we are happy to extend 10% off on wine purchases to guests of members.

I heard the Cult of Ceres club level is closed. Is that true?

Our family has been honored by the tremendous response to our Cult of Ceres wines, and due to the demand, the last two vintages have completely sold out. In order to ensure that we have enough inventory for our current COC club level members, we are moving to an allocation model and closing the COC club level to new members. Those interested in purchasing COC wines will be added to a waiting list and contacted on a first come first serve basis when a spot opens up. Please email Cindy Braunel at info@dustedvalley.com to add your name to the list.

Do you ship UPS or FedEx?

We ship using FedEx. If you prefer UPS, please let us know by contacting our Wine Club Manager, Cindy Braunel, to discuss. Please note that federal law requires an adult signature at delivery, so often times our club members opt to ship to a business address. You will receive tracking information for your order so that you may keep up to date with your package. FedEx will attempt delivery 3 times before sending your wines back to Dusted Valley. Returned and rerouted packages may incur additional shipping charges. Please view our Shipping Policies page for more information.

I will not be available to sign for my package.  What can I do?

FedEx offers customers a great option to have their packages redirected in transit to a secure and convenient location.  Check out this link for more details:  https://www.fedex.com/en-us/shipping/hold-at-location.html

Why aren’t I receiving your emails?

Email and Spam filters can be tricky! Please try saving info@dustedvalley.com to ensure safe delivery of our emails. We recommend checking your spam/junk folders. Unfortunately, if we end up in spam/junk too many times, your email server will start rejecting our emails, and we will need to update your account with a new email address.

Will I get notice of when my card is going to be charged?

Yes! Club allocations are charged automatically. You will receive an email 3 – 4 weeks prior to your allocation being processed.  However, during this time we encourage all our members to tailor their selections to what they wish to receive.  Additionally, this is your opportunity to update any important information on your account to ensure you receive your wines without delay!

How will I know when my allocation is going to be shipped or available for pickup?

You will receive a notice of your allocation charges along with your pick up or shipping preferences at the beginning of release.  This notice will include a reminder of pick up or ship dates. Ship orders will be sent at the end of the release. A tracking number will be sent via email once the package ships. Pick up orders are always available throughout release. We do ask that Club allocations are picked up within 2 weeks or we will charge your card for any applicable S&H and ship the package to your default shipping address on file.

Oops! I was notified that my allocation is going to ship or is available for pickup, but I’d still like to make some changes to my order. Can I do that?

Contact Cindy at info@dustedvalley.com or 509-525-1337. We’ll do our best to accommodate adjustments based on available inventory. Unfortunately, if the order has already shipped, we cannot make any adjustments.
